Photo: Gov. Ajimobi replaces transformer removed from community
Yesterday, we heard that a PDP Guber candidate removed a transformer he'd given to a community after he lost in the Oyo Gubernatorial race (read here). The man, Teslim Folarin, released a statement denying that he was the one who removed the transformer. Anyway, according to new reports, Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi heard about the incident and bought a bigger transformer for the community which was delivered to them yesterday.
How my administration will tackle Boko Haram - Buhari
President-elect Gen. Buhari in an opinion article published on New York Times yesterday April 14th, wrote on how his administration will tackle the terror group, Boko Haram. Read below...
When Boko Haram attacked a school in the town of Chibok, in northeastern
Nigeria, kidnapping more than 200 girls, on the night of April 14, 2014, the
people of my country were aghast. Across the world, millions of people joined
them in asking: How was it possible for this terrorist group to act with such
impunity? It took nearly two weeks before the government even commented on the
crime. This lack of reaction was symptomatic of why the administration of
President Jonathan was swept aside last month – the first time an incumbent
president has been successfully voted out of office in the history of our
nation.
For too long they ruled, not
governed, and in doing so had become so focused on their own self-interest and
embroiled in corruption that the duty to react to the anguish suffered by their
citizens had become alien to them. My administration, which will take office on
May 29, will act differently – indeed it is the very reason we have been
elected. This must begin with honesty as to whether the Chibok girls can be
rescued.
Currently their whereabouts remain unknown. We do not know the state of their health or welfare, or whether they are even still together or alive. As much as I wish to, I cannot promise that we can find them: to do so would be to offer unfounded hope, only to compound the grief if, later, we find we cannot match such expectation. But I say to every parent, family member and friend of the children that my government will do everything in its power to bring them home.
What I can pledge, with absolute certainty, is that from the first day of my administration, Boko Haram will know the strength of our collective will and commitment to rid this nation of terror, and bring back peace and normalcy to all the affected areas. Until now, Nigeria has been wanting in its response to their threat: With our neighbours fighting hard to push the terrorists south and out of their countries, our military was not sufficiently supported or equipped to push north. As a consequence, the outgoing government’s lack of determination was an accidental enabler of the group, allowing them to operate with impunity in Nigerian territory.
That is why the answer to defeating Boko Haram begins and ends with Nigeria. That is not to say that allies cannot help us. My administration would welcome the resumption of a military training agreement with the United States, which was halted during the previous administration. We must, of course, have better coordination with the military campaigns our African allies, like Chad and Niger, are waging in the struggle against Boko Haram. But, in the end, the answer to this threat must come from within Nigeria. We must start by deploying more troops to the front and away from civilian areas in central and southern Nigeria where for too long they have been used by successive governments to quell dissent.
We must work closer with our neighbors in coordinating our military efforts so an offensive by one army does not see their country’s lands rid of Boko Haram only to push it across the border onto their neighbors’ territory. But as our military pushes Boko Haram back, as it will, we must be ready to focus on what else must be done to counter the terrorists. We must address why it is that young people join Boko Haram. There are many reasons why vulnerable young people join militant groups, but among them are poverty and ignorance.
Indeed Boko Haram – which translates in English, roughly, as “Western Education Is Sinful” – preys on the perverted belief that the opportunities that education brings are sinful. Promise of food If you are starving and young, and in search of answers as to why your life is so difficult, fundamentalism can be alluring. We know this for a fact because former members of Boko Haram have admitted it: They offer impressionable young people money and the promise of food, while the group’s mentors twist their minds with fanaticism. So we must be ready to offer the parts of our country affected by this group an alternative.
Boosting education will be a direct counterbalance to Boko Haram’s appeal. In particular we must educate more young girls, ensuring they will grow up to be empowered through learning to play their full part as citizens of Nigeria and pull themselves up and out of poverty. Indeed, we owe it to the schoolgirls of Chibok to provide as best an education as possible for their fellow young citizens. Boko Haram feeds off despair. It feeds off a lack of hope that things can improve.
By attacking a site of learning, and kidnapping more than 200 schoolgirls, it sought to strike at the very place where hope for the future is nurtured, and the promise of a better Nigeria. It is our intention to show Boko Haram that it will not succeed. My government will first act to defeat it militarily and then ensure that we provide the very education it despises to help our people help themselves. Boko Haram will soon learn that, as Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

Gov Fashola rewards female police officer who disarmed two robbers that tried to steal from her
Lagos state Governor Babatunde Fashola yesterday rewarded Sergeant Mercy John pictured above for bravery. The female police officer single-handedly disarmed two robbers who attempted to dispose her of her belongings at Egbeda-Shasha by Tawakalitu Close, Orisunmibare Road, Lagos on 10th February, 2015.
Sergeant Mercy, a native of Ikori in Cross River State was on her way to work when armed robbers attacked her. She fought back and was able to recover a locally made pistol with two live cartridges from them. At a ceremony which held at the Lagos House, Ikeja, Governor Fashola encouraged the brave female officer not to relent in her efforts in keeping the state safe...
"Let me say very clearly that I value the work that you do, people
of Lagos value what you do and where ever you come from, this is your home and
I think it is right to say that it was because you take this as home, you did
the right thing, you took two robbers out of commission so that the people of
Lagos can sleep well’’ he said

Okorocha champions the affairs of Ndi Igbo, as Buhari visits Owerri tomorrow
Following the refusal of most Igbos in the south-East to support the change-train of the All Progressive People's Congress(APC) in the presidential election of March 28 which brought in Mohammadu Buhari as President-elect, Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha is currently fighting hard to ensure that the Igbos do not lose out totally.
You would recall that the APC equally didn't win the majority seats in the National Assembly in the state, and may no longer have the seat of the Senate president and speaker of the House of Representatives, which is rather a disturbing factor to the Igbo leader Rochas Okorocha who said it's a pitiable situation and disheartening that out of sentiment the Igbos rubbed themselves out.
But Okorocha the southeast leader is not deterred
but is determined to ensure that the South-Eastern states have a firm place in
the Scheme of things and particularly to enjoy 'Federal might' which is often
easier when a state's ruling party is properly aligned one at the national, Rochas
Okorocha who is reputed for always fighting for the cause of the Igbos has
finalised move to bring the much- loved President-elect Buhari to the
South-East tomorrow, April 7th.
The ever-passionate Imo governor will ensure that when Buhari arrives Owerri tomorrow, the fondly called "People's General" will meet with all stakeholders, use the opportunity to thank all the Igbos, and encourage them to have a rethink by voting APC in next weekend's governorship election.
"There is danger looming for the South-East if
urgent steps are not taken to let the Igbos realise why they should vote APC
next weekend. Ofcourse, there have always been clarion calls sounded by His
Excellency Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha to all Igbos, but our people refused to
listen. Now see where we are about to find ourselves in the emerging political
equation following the Presidential election last weekend. There is nothing
like being part of the government at the centre and fortunately, the Igbos
still have one more chance in this election by voting APC in next Saturday's
governorship election. They won't say that we didn't warn them," an aide
of the governor explains to us.
Buhari's coming back to say thank you to the Ndi
Igbo, may be worthy of note and speaks volume as against, PDP's Goodluck
Jonathan who never returned to show appreciation despite getting majority votes
of the Igbos-1.3million votes in Imo and about 7 million votes in the entire
South-East in the last election.
By mediating for a cordial relationship between the
president-elect and the Igbos who turned their back against him in last
weekend's poll, Rochas Okorocha is also once again as in recent time,
demonstrating his significant role in reclaiming the political rights of the
Igbo race and her political alignment to the center which voting of APC next
weekend will ensure.

10-year-old meets death after being raped by top Director in Abia (Photo)
The Director of
Administration representing the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in
the Board of the Abia State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission,
Mr. Christian Onuoha, has been arrested by the police for allegedly
raping his 10-year-old housemaid to death.
According to reports gathered by the Punch, the victim, Anurika Ngwakwe, was allegedly found unconscious in Onuoha’s car in his house at World Bank Housing Estate, Umuahia, on Tuesday, before she was rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
The father of the victim , Mr. Chinenye Ngwakwe, a security man with the state’s Ministry of Finance, said he wanted justice for the death of his daughter.
The 49-year-old said the wife of the accused, Precious, who is also a member of staff of the Ministry of Finance, had been mounting pressure on him to find a housemaid for the family.
He said after much pressure, he finally took the couple to his village at Owoahiafo in the Obingwa Local Government Area of the state on January 2, 2015, where he had intended to recommend a housemaid to them.
Ngwakwe said he decided to entertain the couple in his house before taking them to meet the proposed housemaid.
According to him, while the couple were in his house, his daughter came out from her room to welcome them, adding that the couple suddenly developed interest in her.
He said, “
They said they liked her and would prefer to take
her. When my wife and I asked Anurika whether she would like to follow them,
she said yes.”
He said he was
shocked that his daughter died in mysterious circumstances less than three
months after she was handed over to the couple, who he said, had promised to
train her.
The father of the victim said he was contacted on the phone on the fateful day by the wife of the suspect.
The father of the victim said he was contacted on the phone on the fateful day by the wife of the suspect.
“Immediately I got to their house, I was told that
my daughter had been rushed to a hospital. When I got to the hospital, I saw my
daughter on oxygen mask lying naked on the bed and bleeding from the mouth and
her private part.
“When I asked them what happened to her, I was told that she locked up herself in the man’s car and was found bleeding with bruises in parts of her body. While I was there, the man told me that he was going back to his house and I said I would stay with her because she was my daughter.
“The man bought dry gin and gave me to drink, but I rejected the drink and threw it inside the hospital’s dustbin. He left us and went back to his house.
“Later in the night, she was removed from the oxygen, but blood kept coming from her private parts with whitish substance.
“A nurse, who also observed it, shouted, ‘What did they do to this girl?’ At that point, the doctor called Onuoha on the phone to explain what happened to my daughter.”

that when finally the accused showed up the following day, the doctor
asked him to take the girl to the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, saying he
could no longer handle the case.
It was learnt that when the girl was finally brought to the FMC, doctors at the hospital insisted on having the medical report of the doctor that attended to her at the first hospital.

Blessing Okagbare apologizes for negative comments on GEJ's contribution to sports
Blessing Okagbare who recently scolded the campaign team of President Goodluck Jonathan for unlawful use of her image and footage in an advertorial for his re-election campaigns seems to have taken back her words.
The African track queen initially complained of lack of support from the
government, and said that, "Now, I am here struggling on my own to pay my
coach, nutritionist, doctor and others to make sure I am in good shape for the
All African Games and the IAAF World Championship in Beijing, China."
It however appears that many waters might have passed under the bridge
as Okagbare recently expressed her die hard love for the president. She further
praised him for his immense contribution to Nigeria sports but maintained that
the unlawful usage of her image and footage remains unpardonable.
In her words, “I heard that some opposition parties are using that
against Jonathan’s campaign. It shouldn’t be so. I don’t want anyone or
opposition parties to get it twisted. I am a die hard fan of the president. He
has inspired me so much and I appreciate everything and the changes he brought
into Nigerian sports.
Like I said, I am in support of Jonathan’s re-election bid, But I want
to say that what Good House Nigeria did in that advertorial by using my image
and footage without seeking my consent was totally wrong and unprofessional.”
Fr Mbaka still insisting GEJ is after his life. Releases statement
Controversial Enugu-based Reverend father, Fr Mbaka is still insisting that the president and his wife want him dead. He's now accusing Enugu police of not taking the threat seriously and claiming that some men packed in a Hilux bus came to look for him recently at his Paris bu didn't find him. Below is a statement he released via his Media Officer, Ike Maximus Ugwuoke..
"It is with a
deep sense of concern that we are constrained to make this statement on the
continued threat to the life of Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka over his 2015 New Year
message titled “From Good Luck to Bad Luck. The Enugu State Police Command has
refuted claims by Fr. Mbaka that his life is in danger. It dismissed Fr.
Mbaka’s outcry over threat to his life as baseless.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Ebere
Amarizu , DSP, was quoted as saying, “We do not have any report by Fr. Mbaka
over threat to his life. We have not received any complaint from him”.
On the backdrop of the above, one begins to wonder whether the alarm raised by Fr. Mbaka on an alleged plot to kill him was a mere rhetoric as the police had made it to appear merely because there has not been an official report to the police over it.
On the backdrop of the above, one begins to wonder whether the alarm raised by Fr. Mbaka on an alleged plot to kill him was a mere rhetoric as the police had made it to appear merely because there has not been an official report to the police over it.
Absence of a formal
report on threat to one’s life doesn’t negate the reality of such threat more
so when the victim had made a public outcry on this issue.
To argue otherwise is
akin to denying the fact of death in the face of a man’s corpse merely because
there is no certificate certifying his death…
Yesterday (Wednesday)
strange hoodlums in a black Hilux besieged his parish compound but they left
disappointed when they could not see him.
"Wherever and whoever this threat is coming
from, we state that there are strong and compelling circumstances pointing
towards the fact that Fr. Mbaka’s latest attacks were stemming from his said
2015 New Year message, which was not favourable to the President Goodluck
Jonathan-led administration.”
IBINABO STORMS COURT OF APPEAL OVER SACK JUDGEMENT, as AGN rally around her
A few hours after the controversial judgment of Justice James Tsoho of the Federal High Court, Lagos nullified the election of the first female president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), the President, Ibinabo Fiberisima had stormed the Court of Appeal, Lagos to challenge the said ruling.
The River State born thespians who hosted the
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in an all star interactive session last Sunday, 15th March, 2015, has
given order to her lawyers to file the appeal on the judgment.
According to the National Secretary of the AGN,
Abubakar Sanusi Yakub, "Ibinabo is challenging the judgment since she
believes that the judge do not understand the case before making his judgment.
That case has been backdated twice since 2011. There is no validating in the
case and the judgment Moreover she has nothing in common with Emeka Ike and his
proxies. She did not contest any election with him. So how could he have the
right to challenge her elections?"
It could be recalled that the trouble with Emeka
Ike and the AGN dates back over six years. He had gone to court to lay claim of
the presidency of the actors' guild after the former president of the AGN,
Segun Arinze was made the body's interim president.
Emeka, an actor and erstwhile school administrator,
who closed down his private school for lack of managerial ability and politics, continued his fight with Ibinabo as
soon as she was elected for her first term. Saber-rattling and rabble rouser Emeka Ike would
not let peace be not even after Ibinabo concluded her first term and was
subsequently elected for her second tenure last November, 2014.
Meanwhile a cross section of the movie industry has
started to drum up support for the Ibinabo led AGN government. As early as 9 am
today, the 17th of March, 2015, a day after the court pronouncement, members of
the AGN could be seen around the guild's headquarters at 19 Ajao Road, Surulere
voicing their unflinching solidarity for the present leadership under Ibinabo.
One of those chanting solidarity songs at the Ajao office this morning was one
time chairman of the AGN Lagos chapter and Emeka Ike's former henchman, Emeka
Rising Ibe.
In a media chat, Rising whodecamped the Emeka Ike's faction of the AGN after a long spell with the splinter group, said that his decision for leaving the camp was for the good of the AGN and movie industry in Nigeria.

"I was with Emeka Ike before but had to change
and turn back to the Ibinabo led AGN because I have seen that the betterment of
the body lies with her. Now I have become an enemy to Emeka Ike and Don Pedro
Aganbi. My advice to them to reconcile with Ibinabo failed. I told them that
there is always a time for fight and a time for peace. Emeka Ike should not be
allowed to destroy the guild. Ibinabo is the right person for that job and we are going to do everything possible to
support her government," Rising said.

OMG! Okorocha is Evil - By Morakinyo Olugbiji
Imo state governor, Rochas Owelle Anayo Okorocha in my opinion, has been one of the most talked about governors in the social media for a while now. I started taking a keen interest in Okorocha from the time he first came out to show an interest in becoming Nigeria's President. Then, NTA network used to feature a documentary about his impressive achievements; how he has been funding children with Down Syndrome, putting them in a jet for excursion. I don't know if he owned the jet but he is believed to have made his wealth in business, way before entering politics. So, the documentary showed how this man had been sponsoring the education of thousands of students, contributing to different Imo communities, and what have you! Just like myself, I'm sure millions of viewers then couldn't have helped but like this man. Infact, my total conclusion of Okorocha at the time was that this man must simply be God's gift to mankind. But no sooner had he become a governor than I started hearing and reading all manners of hate reports about him. How did such an 'angel' come to be this 'evil' as one Lagos-based, Imo-hailed dude referred to him in a tweet the other day? I wouldn't know if this dude has stepped his feet on the soil of his state in the last three years, or just drawing his assertions from some of the online reports out there as it's the case with many people like him. Is there even any politician that hasn't been tagged evil? Even governor Fashola of Lagos State for hugely transforming Lagos State won more enemies. But I want to believe Okorocha's case must be different for there to be so many pull-him-down reports against him in the media. I just came back from Imo state, and like my past trips, first-hand experience and conversations with a cross sections of Imolites; from my cab man to the market women I met, to the youths, it dawned on me why Okorocha has continued to be tagged 'evil' and I can't but agree with all the online reports. 'Evil' is an understatement, Okorocha is the 'devil' himself! Let me explain the 'evils' he has meted out to the people of Imo state.
How can Okorocha just come from nowhere and declare
education free for Imo indigenes up to the tertiary level? Where in Nigeria is
that done? Okorocha said, "let education be free so that the children of
the poor can be educated and know their rights". Past administrations in
the state for instance fixed school fees in Imo State University at 150,000(one
hundred and fifty thousand naira), Okorocha came and reversed it and now it's
totally free. Does he realise how much some people are losing as a result of
that evil decision of his? So he thinks, he can just become the Awolowo of the
Igbos overnight? In a state where past administrations have commercialized
education at the detriment of the Igbo child and consistently increased
tuitions arbitrarily, he thinks he can just come like that and change the
status quo? His over 305 precast schools built in all the wards in Imo state,
aren't they too sophisticated for the average Imo youths? Even GEJ reportedly
attested to it when he once landed in one of the schools in a chopper and
asked, 'is this Imo state university?'. Every student is even entitled to free
uniforms, books, sandals, modern desks, and is even paid a stipend for coming
to school. Oh, there is even Rochas canvas also free for students? Mehn, Okorocha
see what you've caused? You are 'evil' for making past administrations look
stupid, and exposing ahead intending candidates with ulterior motives! Why
won't you be at the receiving end of so many media propaganda by people who
want to see you out of government house in Owerri by all means? Why won't
members of the oppositions be feeding the public lies about you, and many are
already relishing the lies and brain-wash like fresh pepper soup? Nna, mehn,
You are not a sharp guy!
And this Okorocha thinks he can even turn Imo state into a Mega City! Many people have a perception of the Eastern states generally as just villages filled with beautiful "yellow pawpaw" damsels, now who asked Okorocha to develop all those magnificent structures currently sprawling the nooks and crannies of the state? Dilapidating and collapsing public infrastructures that have been abandoned for years have also been given a new life, while some have been bluntly replaced with very monumental Roman-like edifices; for instance the Freedom Square and the Imo Hall of Fame. Biko, na enabling and business-friendly environment Igbo people wan chop? This man is fast converting Imo state into a tourist haven, and he needs to stop already, otherwise he'll continue to be 'evil'. Even the government house which should serve as one of the glories of the state, which past administrations ignored for many years with dilapidated, uncompleted structures , and no one lived there; now looks like a small London! Does the government house belong to Okorocha's father? Why can't he just leave it the way it was. After all, as the saying goes; Government is like soldier go, soldier come, the barrack remains. And have you seen that breathtaking chapel he built for worshipping God in the state house? Only in Imo state! Now you know that Okorocha is undeniably the devil incarnate. Who asked Okorocha to dualise Imo roads. Who send am? In Imo state, over 600 kilometres of rural roads network have been dualised. Imagine creating the Akachi dualised road with a bridge, where everybody thought impossible, also 6.4km road from Douglas road to Naze junction? Some of these road networks, hitherto had become death traps decorated with potholes, gullies and ditches since built during the Sam Mbakwe administration more than 33 years ago, and past administrations pretended not to see all that even as Imolites and visitors died in accidents on these roads everytime. Flood over-ran several areas in Imo state due to lack of proper drainage system. The gutters were full with debris and over flowing, Imo state was fast becoming a desert, but see what this evil Okorocha has done to Imo state now? And Instead of him, like most Nigerian governors to concentrate on the state capital, Okorocha is not focusing on Owerri alone which him don turn to Lekki finish, him still dey extend his evil projects to villages like Orlu. Practically, every street in Orlu is now dualised with street lights. Okorocha has even dualised the road from Owerri to Orlu, and even from Orlu down to the boundary with Anambra state. This is being done by Okorocha even though this is a federal road. The past administrations were smarter. They didn't even touch the roads within town, let alone touch a federal road. Now tell me, why won't there be a massive misinformation and pull-him-down campaigns against him? Is he a learner? Doesn't he know that the phrase 'politics is a dirty game', takes its deepest root in Nigeria?
For crying out loud, who asked Okorocha to help Imo
state manage its revenue? When this man got into office, he met over 200 Imo
state local government accounts in existence and reduced it to just one, now
yielding over N17billion. Okorocha why? Same with his heartless cost-saving
mechanisms which ensures that Imo state saved N7billion after paying over
N34billion in salaries and pension. The facts are everywhere! As if that one
never do, this evil of a governor fearlessly put a stop to constructions of one
kilometre of roads at N120million Naira to around N60-70million on even better
road projects. And you say that there shouldn't be elite conspiracy against
him, when he has refused to share with them the resources of the state the way
it was previously being shared? Okorocha is not a sharp guy at all, doesn't he
know that this is naija! Why won't he allow people chop and clean mouth? It was
obvious from his first time in office that this man was set to spoil things for
others. Security vote is where most, if not all governors steal from majorly.
Once the month ends, it's gone. They will claim it was spent on keeping the
peace in the state and also protect lives of public officers. This money na the
fringe benefits of many naija governors na . Issues of security are not really
questioned, but this 'Maga' called Okorocha forfeited N4billion naira of his
security vote, and then dedicated it to free education in Imo state. Choi!
E be like say dis guy no need money o? Him be Igbo Messiah? Abi him be Bill
Gate? Wetin be all dis over concern about the Igbo people sef? Is it not these
same Imolites, while most are praising his massive achievements, some of them
will help in echoing the hatred, manipulations, mischief, ill-feelings, evil
machinations, vendetta and gossips by those who don't want the development of
the Igbo race. Okorocha, you are on your own o.
Okorocha's 'oversabi' too much sef! He always seem
to feel that he knows more than every other past governors in Imo state. How
can he say that N18,000 national minimum wage cannot sustain a worker, and
decided to increase workers minimum wage in Imo state to N20,000 and even
announced free medical care for the workers. Arrant nonsense!!! Are Imo workers
his family members? What's his business if many Imo workers have high blood
pressure and high blood sugar level? He won't mind his business. Now, see how corpers
are always jostling to get posted to Imo state, because they know that this
evil governor pays the most attractive state 'allawee' in the whole of Nigeria.
Wetin corpers dey do sef? Have you also seen the 27 general hospitals Okorocha
constructed in each 27 Local government areas of Imo state? Why didn't previous
governors do that, na only Okorocha waka come? I say this man is evil and
heartless! Just about four months ago, he commissioned the Ochiedike Dialysis
and Diagnostic Centre in Owerri and declared free tests for prostate and breast
cancer. For that gesture alone, all women especially, should come together and
protest that Okorocha is 'evil'!
Why must the majority of the projects being carried
out in Imo state be given to indigenes and all the manpower coming from
indigenes, instead of expatriates? Even a few foreign contractors getting the
jobs are mandated to use indigenous labour! Why? Okorocha what have you done?
Must Imo youths get paid? Must you employ the services of the artisans in the state.
What's your problem? Why can't you just leave the youths to grumble like they
have been doing in the past. You even set up the Imo Film academy so that you
can promote the talents of the youths. What a waste!! What talents have Imo
youths got? Hmmn, tell me! This is not the Imo they used to know, why don't you
just leave the youths alone and let them be as they were before you became a
governor. Let them continue to swoon in abject poverty, want and deprivation.
All these youth empowerments will only ensure that you remain an evil governor;
you know how powerful and influential these propagandists are. You know how
good they are at throwing out falsehood and denigrating the truth? Shine your
eyes Okorocha.
Shuoo! What's the noise about Imo state fast becoming
a mega city of sorts under Okorocha? What's the noise about the huge
transformation bringing about economic development of Imo state? What's this
noise about a higher number of people coming into Imo state in terms of
vehicular traffic, in terms of migration of businesses from other parts of
Nigeria and the world into Imo state? Oh wow, Imo state is now fast taking the
shape of the heart-land of the East that it was meant to be.
Truly, this Okorocha is evil as they call him and I
don't think Imolites need such an evil person. Imo people do not deserve an
evil governor like Okorocha at all. Thank God this Okorocha is not the
President of Nigeria, is this how this evil and heartless man will just be
transforming everything like say tomorrow nor dey?
Please Imolites, I'm begging you, do not vote
Okorocha again. I repeat, do not vote Okorocha! Let all these things stop! Imo
state must go back to the condition it was in the past before Okorocha became
the governor. The next time I travel to Imo, I want to be stuck in traffic for
hours on the roads from the airport because of bad roads everywhere, I want to
see dust all over the town. I Want to see anger and sadness in the faces and
expressions of the people. I want to hear complains from the cabman about how
the new governor has abandoned the people; I don't want the common man to sing
praises of any governor to my ears like they are currently doing Okorocha.
I want the next youth I chat with to tell me that
he wants to come to Lagos to hawk pure water in traffic because he can't afford
tuitions, instead of telling me he dreams of becoming a graduate because there
is now free education in his state. I want to come back to Lagos and yab my
Igbo friends that their state is devoid of any modern development. I want to go
back to the concorde area and see it look like the old Ajegunle in Lagos.
Please, every parents in Imo must start paying their children's school fees
like before, no more zero percent tuition. Okorocha E don do!
No more city schools, they are too beautiful and
sophisticated for Imolites, we must return to the old days of students and
pupils sitting on the floor. To hell with free university education too,
university education is not for a poor man. Okorocha must go by force or by
fire. I don't want to see more architectuaral masterpieces anymore in Imo
state; the erection of the beautiful magnificient government buildings have to
stop, why can't Imolites make do with regularly structures, a good governor can
even start erecting public utility structures with Bamboo; after all, na East.
I particularly hate that evil world class Freedom
Square;it's too ugly. Please, we must not vote Okorocha again. He is clueless,
infact he is doing nothing in Imo state. And oh, he dumped APGA? Mtchewww, and
someone will say he shouldn't be tagged evil.

Gov Rochas Okorocha Preaching and meditating on the Bible(Must-See Pics)
Didn't they say that the amiable governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha is an Alhaji? What won't these political Propagandists do to discredit an achiever all in the name of politics? There is nothing bad in being an Alhaji, but for Propagandists to embark on a massive misinformation and brainwashing of Imolites and Nigerians that he is a Alhaji when he is not and that this hardworking governor is paying every indigen N5million to convert to Islam is worst injustice to God and man. Those close to the Governor will swear with their lives that he is a man with passion for God, hence his recent building of a magnificent chapel for worshiping God inside the State house, the photos of which went viral last month. They'd also confirm to you that Okorocha begins and ends his day with God; he even has a mini chapel in his home. Now here are some recent exclusive photos of the governor reading his bible and even preaching/leading prayers.

Photos: Inside Gov. Okorocha's State-Of-The-Arts Dialysis Center
Imo state governor, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha continues his human-centered approach to governance with the recent commissioning of a world-class, state-of-the-arts Dialysis and Diagnostic Centre called The Ochiedike Dialysis and Diagnostic Centre. This project is in addition to the many other non-stop great achievements of the governor in the state's health sector, such as the donation of a large fleets of mobile clinic buses patrolling the state in case of any emergencies and the construction of 27 General Hospitals each of the state's 27 Local government areas. Okorocha who declared free tests for prostate and breast cancer at the center, has been urging citizens from 40 years and above to take advantage of the services provided at the Centre, as the cancer diseases continue to hit people across the globe. The governor who insisted that he'll not give up in ensuring that Imo citizens are happy, also made it clear that the Centre is 100 percent owned by the Imo State Government, and is being managed by top Israeli Medical Personnel, alongside their Imo state counterparts. It may also interest you to know that this governor provides free medical checkup for all Civil Servants in the state.

OMG!!! See what Governor Okorocha Did To Imo Schools
Could you just imagine how our Governor Owelle Rochas Anayo
Okorocha Is transforming Imo state in all areas? In Nigerian today, Imo state
under Rochas Okorocha has become the envy of other states in the area of
education because it is the only state that offers free education from Primary
to the university level for its indigenes. In imo students are given free
books, lockers, uniforms, school canvas and sandals and they are even paid
stipends to come to school. Here are photos showing how the government schools
in Imo state used to look like before our governor Rochas Okorocha took over
office, and the other beautiful photos show how the great governor has
transformed the schools to lovely, befitting ones. Rochas Okorocha has so far
built about 305 beautiful schools like these around Imo state and he is not
stopping...
